'From Morning to Night' Exhibit Opens Sept. 30 with Reception, Lecture, Tours

"From Morning to Night: Domestic Service in the Gilded Age South," a traveling exhibition interpreting domestic servitude in the turn-of-the-century South, will open Saturday, Sept. 30 with a reception, dinner lecture and tours of Sweet Briar House.

'A Little Night Music' Hits the Stage at Sweet Briar, Tickets on Sale Oct. 2

The comedic operetta that launched Stephen Sondheim's haunting hit "Send in the Clowns" will be performed at Sweet Briar College Oct. 12 through 15 in the Murchison Lane Auditorium at Babcock Fine Arts Center.

Writers Series Opens with Hallman's 'Devil'

The Sweet Briar College Writers Series kicks off Thursday, Oct. 5 with a devil of a reading from J.C. Hallman, SBC's Margaret Banister writer-in-residence. Hallman will read from his latest book, "The Devil is a Gentleman: Exploring America's Religious Fringe" at 8 p.m. in the Pannell Gallery.

Time's Running Out for Tickets to Baltimore Consort Performance
